About the event
Our team is hosting a Virtual Remote Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) Training.
This course will provide participants with the knowledge to implement the requirements of the “Foreign Supplier Verification Programs (FSVP) for Importers of Food for Humans and Animals” regulation of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Attendees will receive a FSPCA certificate upon completion. This 16 hour course covers the “standardized curriculum” recognized by FDA. Participants must attend the entire stated course duration.
The virtual remote training will cover
• Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA)
• Foreign Supplier Program requirements
• Hazard Analysis, Verification and Supplier Approvals
This class is designed for U.S.‐based importers, the U.S. agent or representative of the foreign owner, and others who have an interest in ensuring that the requirements of the FSVP rule are met, including brokers, exporters, distributors, foreign suppliers of food that will be exported to the U.S. and those who currently buy food from foreign sources. These virtual courses are taught by Lead Instructors trained by the FSPCA.
Registration Fee: $599 pp (includes participant materials, enrollment & certificate)
Technical Requirements: Participants must have Audio Visual capabilities for their supported OS. An internet connection, speakers and microphone, and webcam capability is required. Visual monitoring is conducted throughout the entire course.
